Yes, the site is free. But only if you play by the rules. The DA user agreement states that only original content created by the user can be posted on a users forum. Otherwise it must be attributed.

I'm really trying to help you out here. I do not want to see you become some sort of interwebs noob and make yourself susceptible to future errors in judgment that would occur the wrath of the true L337. They are waiting for people to break the rules and have an excuse to break your net identity.

Please listen to me when I tell you that your submission is breaking the rules. I do not want something embarrassing like this [link] happen to you.
